This spring, the Vencora team attended Insurtech Insights Europe 2025, alongside representatives from SSP, a Vencora Insurance company. With thousands of attendees gathering in London, the event once again reaffirmed its place as a premier hub for innovation, connection, and strategic foresight in the insurance technology space. For both Vencora and SSP, the conference offered an opportunity to listen, learn, and contribute to shaping the future of the Insurtech industry.
Here are the key takeaways from our time on the ground:

1. Ecosystems Beyond Borders: Building Collaborative Networks for Distribution Success
One key trend that was a heavy focus at this year’s event was surrounding ecosystems. Sucheta Mohan, Head of Product at SSP, joined a panel to speak on the importance of having an ecosystem strategy that revolves around solving problems for the end-consumer.
“While ecosystems themselves are not new—having long been a foundation of the insurance industry, particularly in distribution—what we are witnessing now is a fundamental shift driven by evolving customer expectations, rapid technological advancements and increasing market uncertainty,” Sucheta explained.
Navigating the balance between competition and collaboration in today’s globalized insurance distribution landscape is a strategic challenge, but also a powerful opportunity. Solution providers like SSP play a critical role by delivering the technological infrastructure that enables insurers to become “invisible partners,” empowering them to offer relevant, personalized propositions to their customers.
“Having the opportunity to join this important discussion on regulatory challenges, technology integration and partnership models inspired me to think more strategically about my own role in shaping future insurance ecosystems,” Sucheta said.
2. AI for Pricing Applications
Artificial intelligence was a dominant theme at Insurtech Insights 2025, as in years prior. But what stood out at this year’s event was the specificity of its current applications. Many software providers demonstrated advanced use cases centered around pricing and data management. For SSP, this validates the path the company is beginning to travel.
“While early in its AI journey, there’s a clear mandate for SSP: integrate AI thoughtfully, especially where it enhances pricing and machine learning,” said Bal Badhan, Head of Account Management at SSP.
3. Embedded Insurance and the Rise of One-Stop Platforms
Embedded insurance was front and centre at Insurtech Insights Europe 2025. More than just a buzzword, it’s becoming an operational imperative for carriers and tech providers alike. The idea of embedding insurance seamlessly into the customer journey is now viewed as one of the most promising growth vectors in the industry. And this year demonstrated the growing trend in how providers are pivoting toward integrated, one-stop solutions.
SSP has been actively involved in events, discussions, and media coverage on this topic. “Our strategic approach was to target both existing customers and potential new business opportunities through marketing, with embedded insurance as a key theme,” said Bal. “As a result, our brand exposure was noted, both in the build up to the event and throughout the conference, deeming it a highly successful approach.”
4. London’s Role as a Launchpad
Another noteworthy trend was the acknowledgment of London as more than just a regional hub—it’s becoming a strategic springboard. “Key decision-makers emphasized that a presence in London offers a path not just into Europe, but also into North America, thanks to the city’s unique position in the global insurance ecosystem,” said Haig Yapoudjian, Senior Director of Business Development at Vencora.
At Vencora, we’re able to support Insurtech businesses looking for strategic guidance and capital support to expand into new territories. SSP is a strong example of a UK-based insurance technology company under Vencora that has been able to successfully enter the US market.

Highlights from the Conference
The SSP booth on the exhibition floor saw strong foot traffic this year, driven in part by interest from insurers in the company’s pricing capabilities and new product offerings, such as SSP Intelligent Quotes Hub (IQH) and SSP Pure Insurance.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this year’s conference was the collaboration between the SSP and Vencora teams. Working and representing our respective companies side-by-side enhanced alignment, strengthened our marketing presence, and underscored the impact of strategic acquisitions.
“Attending the conference with SSP was a major value-add and served as a live example of a success story where Vencora has been able to acquire a business in a strategic market and play a pivotal role in turning the business into a success story and a leader in the insurance space,” shared Haig. “Having SSP leaders attest to our story was very beneficiary to businesses that are looking to better understand how the ownership transition experience would look like.”
Looking Ahead
Insurtech Insights Europe 2025 reaffirmed that the pace of change in our industry is only accelerating, and Vencora plans to continue to engage with Insurtech leaders around the globe on noteworthy trends. Later this spring, Vencora plans to attend Insurtech Insights in NYC to gain new insights on the industry within USA and North America.
